This year we are back! Koala IT will be there to give you some help and advice and show off some neat tech for schools. So if you want to see something interesting while you are there or catch up, then come by and have a chat with us.

On our stand (number 39) we will have an ‘education-focused’ 3D printer from XYZprinting to provide an insight into the standard school equipment of the not too distant future. Prices are tumbling as suppliers look to provide for the education marketplace. They a very user-friendly and there is a whole range available.
You might want to get one for your home?!

Another fun thing to have a look at are our Google Cardboard virtual reality headsets. With just an app and a smartphone, enter the world of VR with a range of environments to explore. Google Cardboard will undoubtedly impress you. The headsets are very cheap to buy, as you would expect from something made from cardboard, but you can also make your own from a template - DIY headset. Spare shoe box anyone?

As we did last year, we will be sharing our stand with Prowise – high class interactive screens for schools with award-winning software Prowise Presenter which can be used for FREE! Easily utilise classroom devices such as iPads to interact with the screens using ProConnect, and have educational fun with Touch Table tools.

Not enough for you? Come and ask us for a go at the - Sphero SPRK+ - program the little robot sphere with an app, learn coding and have a bit of fun zooming it around on the floor. They even make a BB-8 version!

We also will be showing off the first of Koala IT's educational apps, soon to be available on every platform including iOS, Android Tablets, PC, Mac, Chromebooks and more. 'The Change Game' is a great way to engage kids in learning how to associate coin values, count multiples of coins and count change for customers. Not only can it help with teaching kids about coins, it also gives them a certificate to show what they have learned at any level for the Teacher to show their progress.

We are also here to answer questions on hot topics like GDPR and our DPO service for schools not part of the OCC.
