Disaster Recovery
Schools have new requirements for Disaster Recovery as laid out by the DFE. They wish for your computer systems to be able to run in all kinds of scenarios. For this Koala IT have a few services that can keep access to your data in the event of a power, internet outage or ransomware attack.
Power
The most common issue facing schools are power outages. Especially in rural areas, power cuts can cause more problems with hardware than just switching off your wireless.

The DFE wish for school networks to be able to keep running in case of power being cut from a building. This would require UPS battery systems to keep them running. Speak to Koala about what is required to keep your school running in this scenario.
Data Backup
Ransomware and other cyber attacks are becoming increasingly common. You need to have a backup solution that can protect against these and provide an easy way to access this backup.
